ALBANY DEFEAT KRUNK, 92-79

ATLANTA (November 26, 2007) - In meeting for the fourth time in ten days, the Atlanta Krunk lost for the second time at home this season as Nat Burton scored a team high 22 points in leading the defending Division champ Patroons to its second victory in four games with a convincing 92-79 win. Their only losses of the season have come at the hands of the Krunk on the inaugural season opener, and on Saturday, in a thrilling double overtime game.

The Krunk were led by point guard and floor leader Zach Marbury, younger brother of NY Knick star Stephon Marbury who scored 18 points.

Both teams seemed intent on shutting down the others big guns as the Krunk’s Miguel Millian, who scored 44 on Saturday night in the series opener, was held to 10 points on 3 for 12 shooting, and the Patroons Chad Timberlake was held to 13 points on 5 for 12 shooting, after scoring a team high 28 points against the Krunk on Saturday.

The Patroons pulled away in the fourth quarter after stifling defense seemed to take away the resolve of the home team. The Krunk fell back to 3-3, while the Patroons moved back to the .500 mark at 2-2.

The Patroons move up to Pittsburgh to play the Explosion, while the Krunk close out there home stand with a date on Wednesday with the Minot Skyrockets.
