December 4, 2007 - Atlanta Krunk owners Freedom Williams, Spyder Hughes, Andrew Schwab and Kenny Anderson would like to send their deepest sympathies and condolences to the Marbury family. We would like for everyone to join us in our prayers for the family after the death of Donald Marbury, Sr., the patriarch of a New York basketball dynasty.
Upon hearing of the news, Spyder (Duane) Hughes said, "Zeck Marbury is as tough a kid as I have ever seen. He stayed with his team, though he was
obviously hurting. Incredible! Even more incredible, is the way he performed with a heavy heart. He will not play in Albany on Wednesday, and
we will allow him all the time he needs to be with his family and loved ones. We are all saddened by this, and wish the entire family all the strength, love and support needed in this trying time."
